Happy Valentines Day Kids!

Tuesday, February 14th, 2012

I always give into the pressure of Hallmark Holidays and I really don’t care that they’re just made so the candy and stuffed animal companies make a little extra cash in February. And in the spirit of Valentines Day, I’m going to go overboard on cute, sappy things today.

Yaaaaaaaay looooooove.

Party Down: Abe Lincoln Style

Monday, February 13th, 2012

There’s a lot of hype about the new “Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter” movie, which, as weird as it sounds, might actually be worth watching. (Mostly because it’s produced by Tim Burton. Yes.)

Here’s something highly coincidental, have you ever watched Party Down? If not, it’s awesome, and you should go watch it immediately. It Doesn’t Get Much Stoopider Than This…

I know some people who take Facebook WAY too seriously, and much too personally. In reality, Facebook is a great way to keep in touch, but it is also a great way to keep out of touch. Why would you need to see your friends in real life, if they’re accessible by merely your fingertips? So then why, if somebody ‘unfriends’ you, would you ever take it seriously? People really think too much about these kind of things.

Now THIS is an example of someone taking Facebook balls to the wall seriously. This woman was unfriended by a couple, and then her father goes out and MURDERS both of them, allegedly for unfriending his daughter. Ladies and gentlemen, I believe a giant WTF is in order.

A more in-depth article about the double murder can be found here:

Seriously? Seriously.

I was pretty impartial to what was happening in the whole Occupy Wall Street situation and living in Vancouver at the time, the Occupy Vancouver stand seemed like way more trouble than it was worth. This, however, is too good not to share with all you 99 percent-ers out there.

No wonder we Americans have such a bad rep.

51, 52 AND 53 states? Really? Canada must be one of them.
